You have perfect opportunity to teach your children about the "birds and the bees" without being so graphic...and use correct terms if more questions come about.

Also, IMO, they are old enough, even at three years of age. Using correct terms help them build that certain respect one would hope they grow up with for when they become young adults and the hormones kick in. You've got time yet. Mine is turning 13 next weekend...AAAHHHH!!...lol...

I feel it's best to be up front and honest with children about such a subject. It will help when they are older to feel more comfortable coming to you about such sensitive topics.

Soonerdog.......I will try also to be more specific in my posts.......being new I didnt know that a young rooster was called something different..........he's a boy he's a rooster.........sorry..........thanks for the info though........
