Questions?

We got them at farm and fleet, May 22 we got daffy & she was 1 week old. We Got dark wing 2 weeks later June 2nd and they said he was a couple days old. I was told that daffy the bigger duck was a Rouen duck they think. And I’m not sure what dark wing is. Or if they are boy/girls ? So do you guys have any idea ? I’m new to ducks. So anything is helpful. Thanks

They are cute!! It's too early to sex your ducklings. (I'm not good at identifying tupe of ducks so not attempting to answer that question,)

I would say Daffy is a Rouen and Darkwing is a Khaki Campbell. Are either of them quacking yet? Only girl ducks quack. Boys make a raspy wap, wap sound, sort of like they have a sore throat. Sometimes their voices have started to turn by this age but not always. If they are still peeping, their voices will change soon. If I had to guess I would guess they are both boys based on coloring. But, I am just guessing.

They still peep a lot my son says dark wing sounds like a quack sometimes. But I’ve missed it so far. Thank you
