Hey everyone I got a question? My dad accidentally left chicken feed in the back of his truck and it got wet. The feed got soaked!! So, they still put the feed in the container. After a few days, the feed molded.. Is it ok if they still eat the feed??

No, I think moldy food is toxic to them.

As a general rule I would say no you shouldn't feed it. But lets see what other people here say. I've only heard about fermenting the feed to fatten a chicken up. But I think fermenting is slightly different than having a mold grow on it. So please wait to see if someone else still has something to say. I wouldn't feed it.

! Pleased you joined us! There are many stories on BYC of people having their chickens die after giving them moldy feed. My advice - trash it - not worth the risk! Good luck to you!
