Lock day is Saterday!! This just dawned on me........i put 2 eggs in monday (not thinking) and i just thought about it today. If i go into lock down will this effect the 2 eggs i put in there?? I mean will they hatch after lock down when the other chicks hatch......they still have 2 more weeks.....

The humidity could be too much for the new eggs. Do you have another incubator you could put them in for now?

well the 2 eggs you just put in won't hatch with the others because they still need 2 weeks in the incubator, and unfortunetly they probably won't do well since they won't be turned again until after the others hatch so they might have a bad outcome or they might suprise you I would just leave them alone and see what happens. What is your incubator?
I have hova-bator still air with automatic egg turner.
I had 15 bantam eggs (due date 4/1) and 30 copper marans eggs (due date 4/4) together in there.
Last Monday, I set 14 bantam eggs, and when I did that, I just left auto egg turner inside the bator, and just removed 2 turning rails from it. So it made empty space for lockdown my bantam eggs.
Also dozen egg carton perfectly fit in there, so I did lockdown bantam eggs in egg carton, and my copper marans eggs are still turned by auto turner now. I will wait until tomorrow night to lockdown these marans eggs.
My bantams are pipping now, so I hope they all come out by tomorrow night, so I can lockdown marans eggs.
