Yes it used to exsist on the old platform.I suppose what I should have asked more clearly is not so much:
Did something like this ever exist? ...Or is there one brand of device that supports a
one-paged version of it? ...
Or only on certain devices...
...Or only through the mobile App (which works better for androids)...

Comprehensive image viewing capabilities for an entire thread would be extremely helpful.
I’m not asking that the entire site have this.
Just the emergency thread as a test model.
This would create a linear visual chronology of an event such as in a traumatic injury (or sudden illness).
It would depict gradual or rapid deterioration in a distraction free stream.
And it could document healing (recovery) as it evolves in a way that the human brain and eyes could appreciate more fully, than interspersed throughout a disjointed narrative of sometimes dozens of pages and hundreds of posts.
