Heading out to Home Depot to get some construction sand for the coop floor. Thing is I just looked online to see what they have and I'm confused. I had originally bought play sand (not so much good). I wanted something grainier/gritier. They have mortar, concrete dust, play sand, lime screening ( baseball diamond stuff), all purpose sand, fine construction sand, tube sand (angular - for traction), and traction sand. Any ideas what I should get? I'm leaving in an hour. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Get the cheapest, most coarse sand they have. Don't worry about the appearance/color of the sand, because in a few weeks, it won't matter.

Hi....Wow, don't overthink this sand thing. It's for the floor....for them to poop on.....just get some sand! Any kind....they will poop on it, I promise. Don't get concrete dust, lime dust, mortor mix......SAND. Good luck
