My dad bought some Hartz Gravel 'n Grit from Walmart. I want to start using it for my chicks, but the ingredients are Gravel, Calcium Carbonate, Sorbolite clay. I heard that young chicks should not have too much calcium. Also, some of the gravel pebbles looks like a little too big for a chick. Is it okay if I use this stuff?

It is my understanding from other posts in my research of the same, that the calcium contained in this type of grit is a no-no. If you haven't opened it perhaps you can exchange or return it for one without the added calcium.

Sound more like something for an adult type grit. Calcium should only be given to adults layers. extra calcium needs extra minerals so it can be properly processed by poultry.
