New member, small back yard flock that are still young. Only one of my girls has started laying.
I have already found so much great information here! Love seeing pics, hearing so much support of 'mutts' too. (I have a few EEs, and some given to me as RIRs that really don't look a bit like them...and of course, more roos than I planned.)

I shudder to think what MIGHT have happened to my flock had I not discovered BYC in researching chicken coops I might be able to build myself. But that was four years ago..... I have since moved - lock, stock, flock and barrel 
- and BYC continues to support me in my poultry pursuits. Quite a few of my chickens are "mutts" but no less beloved. Additionally, some of my best friends are BYC folks I have never even met (and some I have). Enjoy the forums whilst you enjoy your flock.
