Today I brought home a puppy and he vomited with in a few hours( long drive) and I think my othe rdog ate some(vomit eww) well the puppy pooped for the first time and he had lots of white long worms come out so much so he tried to poop them out !omg so nasty!Do I let him roam the house like he was or should I keep him in the kennel until we see the vet on tuesday?

You might want to keep him in a kennel until the vet appointment. You dont want your other dog getting the worms. Just take him out often so he doesnt mess himself in the kennel. If you want something right away, TSC sells puppy wormer, about $5.00 or less. Read the directions and then that will help with the worms until you can get him to the vet. I hope this helps you out. As pp stated, worm all dogs in the house.

Yep you defiantly have got worms, just like HappyMtn said. Depending on how old the pup is I would keep him separated from your other dog until you see the vet, due mostly to the risk of Parvo. If the vomiting continues, I would for sure keep them separated. Is your other dog up to date on vaccines?
On the bright side, Congrats on the new puppy!! What kind of dog is he?

I use horse wormer for my dogs. Have for years (12+) and never had a problem. I use panacur or safe guard. It is much cheeper and just as effective and safe.
I have used it with shepherds, boxers, boston terriers, and my little shih tzu. Like I said never had a problem.

My other dog has her shots the vomiting I think was caused by the ride home and the fries he found ( I have kids lol). He ate fine not a big tummy a bit small though. He's a lab/husky/german shepard and is 8 weeks. I was only going to just "look" at the puppies, said I bet the dog we wanted wouldn't wouldn't be found but these puppies are exactly the personality I was looking for super smart ,cute to boot though this worm thing has me grossed out, yuck!

Friends of mine use horse wormer, too - but be SURE you calculate the dosage correctly, and be sure it's safe for a puppy. You don't say how old the pup is, or how big. Also, if he's got a belly full of worms, his body weight could be a lot less than shows on the scale. I would confine him away from the other dogs and kids, clean up any body fluids and excrement, indoors or out, and get him to the vet ASAP for treatment. YOu should take a sample of poop with you so the vet can look under the microscope and see what kinds of worms he has. You need to get them all, and some kinds you can't see with the naked eye. You will need to worm all your pets, too, especially those who had contact with the puppy or his poop. And one type of worm gets into the ground and then you pretty much have it forever - which is why my friends who have a kennel full of show dogs use the horse wormer. It's cheaper, by a lot, and with so many dogs it's the only way to go. But a boarding dog brought the worms into the kennel yard and now they have to worm regularly where they never did before - for the first twenty five years, they wormed puppies and new dogs, then tested for worms yearly but never had any. Now they have to worm every few months. So be sure to get rid of the worms the pup poops out....people can get worms, too.

Sorry, your orig. post didnt' give details about breed/age, the last one did!!

When I was looking for training treats I picked up dewormer,it said 1/2 for under 2 kg, 1 for over he's 3 kg dewormed my other dog as well. Hopefully this does it his poop you can't see worms just the one poop he had. I really didn't want to wait until tuesday. I tried taking pictures of the little guy but he squirmed too much.

Congrats! I bet he is so cute!

Kennel him. It will make life easier for you in housebreaking and also prevent him from chewing on things and getting into trouble.
