Our somewhat mysterious drake (see the thread about guessing his background) is doing well in his new home. He did take a big constitutional around the farm after the dog, uhm, asked for too much information (sniffed his derriere). This is a duck guard dog, by the way.
Anyway, Drake thought discretion the better part of valor and kept his distance for a few hours, chumming up with the horses, eating with them, and after them.
Then he came back up to the barnyard, and has been the model citizen since.
