Quick question about egg turners

personally I wouldn't do less than 45 degrees from vertical (90 degrees of rotation). i think that's what most commercial turners do, and you can bet they figured it out down to the second, the barest minimum to get by with reliably. (more rotation = larger incubators = higher costs)

are you going to opt for single turning trays or multiple trays per level? multiples per level might allow more rows for the height since there's less up/down going on overall, allowing for a higher turn radius? of course it would also depend on what you're using for a tray, as some may not allow for that much rotation or the eggs would fall out...
