Quick Question abt Newly Hatched Baby

The little baby just freed herself from the shell in the last hour or two.

But she is outside of her mother's wing area, not under Momma's wing. And Momma is not making any attempt to pull her back under her wings.

Baby is snug between the outside of Momma's wing and the wall of the nest.

She doesn't seem like she's in danger, just maybe cold. She's chirping like a cold baby chick does.

The nest is way in the back of a dog pen, so I can't reach in to put her under Momma's wing without climbing half way inside the huge dog pen and causing a BIG ruckus.

But if I really need to, I could do that.

Please advice. Its my first time having a broody hatch babies.

She will probably crawl under mom when she gets a little bit stronger. Mine did the same thing. Then figured out OH crawl under mom, its warm in there.
