Quick question - can multiple broodies be broken in same cage?

I have only one broody breaker set up and three hens that literally went broody at the same time. My breaker cage is something like 3x2 foot or so. I think they would get along okay together. Or would it be counterproductive for breaking?

I can certainly just do one at a time, and keep chucking the others off the nests until it’s their turn.

I have put two in a 12 by 18 cage at times. It usually works, but I had one hen that would pick on others, so she had to be alone. I would put them in together & observe them for a few minutes & then check them later. My bully starting pecking the other one immediately! YMMV. Good luck!

As long as crate is large enough and the birds are friendly enough with each other (even with hormones) that they don't fight, it's fine to put more than one in a broody breaker. 3x2 is probably enough for 2.

Thank you both for your info! I just wasn’t sure if they’d ‘feed’ off each others’ broodiness in some way and stymie breaking efforts. I think I have one broken - we’ll see when I get home - so I just might put the other two in together.
