You can by rolled roofing instead of shingles, it goes on the very simalar as the felt paper. However you will want to use tar sealer/cement with it on the joints or laps as some call it..
Thats what i did with some of our coops. However one roll will weighs about 90 lbs. But its very affordable which is what i liked about it and goes down very fast...Colors come in black or white here..I think it last for up to 12 years.
