ok. well we just wont mention that wolf thing again! Anyway does anybody else have anything else to say? Any more ideas? etc. I may just use beekissed idea and buy a 7 month old ram then breed and sell. It sounds easy to do and it will definately save me money on having to build a ram pen. Thanks for the good idea. Although i may try having a ram year round and just see how it works... Maybe if the ram isnt too aggressive and the ewes arent too overworked i could just keep one yearround. Then again i will have to deal with the problem of inbreeding if i keep him more than 1 or 2 years.

What are the rules for inbreeding. Is it bad to breed a ram to his daughter or sister?

I think...and I could be very wrong on this....that you can breed a daughter or a sister but not a granddaughter or niece. I think problems start with that but I haven't done enough research on that to know for sure. I'm sure Pat has done this research, though, so she could probably let you know.
