Quickest way to warm up day old chick *update*

I found a day old baby chick in an abandoned nest. Hist mother was run off by another, younger bird. Right now I have him in a house shoe with warm water bottles on either side laying under a lamp. He seems to have life left, as every now and then he'll peep, but I don't know if he'll live.

Any tips on what you've done to warm your birds back up?

Edit//Update: It's been over an hour, almost two now, since I found the little guy. He / she [going to go with HE because HE is so strong willed] is doing a hundred times better. "Lucky" is peeping and moving, getting furthur away from the warm bottle as he warms up and I'm about to reheat it it's luke-warm ish now. He's trying to stand, but keeps falling over backwards. I think the hen that threw Baldy off of her nest pecked out one of the little guys eyes, as it hasn't opened it yet and it was swollen when I found the chick.

I am almost positive that Lucky will survive, only time will tell. He sure is peeping and happy now, I'm going to give him another dose of yogurt and electrolytes now. I'm almost out of lytes, does anyone suggest gatorade? I live 45 minutes out of town, so running to the store to get some is not exactly the easiest thing to do. Not worth the gas prices out here.

Baldy is clucking to her chick, so I'm sure she'll take him back but I'm not sure I want to give him back after everything I've done to warm him up! I will post pictures of his progress in a little bit.

Now, here's my question... once he's all warm and walking, doing chicky things, does anyone suggest putting him in with the other chicks? They are 1 week old, and there's a 5 week old runt in there with them. Will they pick on him? Should I introduce him slowly? I've never had so many chicks at once so this has never been a problem for me. Normally 1 or 2 tops in the house at all times.

I gave him a drop of yogurt once he started peeping again. It's almost been an hour since I found him and waiting on the water bottle to warm up felt like an eternity!

"Lucky", as he is now called, hatched yesterday and Baldy was still sitting on him at midnight last night. So at the most the little guy was on his own for ten hours! He's a survivor. He's peeping now, lifting his head and attempting to cuddle with the bottle of water. I have Baldy caught up [ she was run off her nest sometime this morning by another broody hen] and am planning on reuniting the pair if she'll accept him.

So far so good! He's got one eye open looking at me going peep-peep-peep. Electrolytes and more yogurt in thirty minutes or so... here's to hoping he lives.
