Here's a view of one end of my 15'x5' kennel where the girls live.
It's a very large tote with small windows cut out on sides. There r 2 small containers that raises it up off ground. Boards r on top w/ food, waterer, & "kitty litter nest box".

It stays dry inside and they don't poop in the tote or the nest box.

I definitely need something better than this. As soon as funds permit, I'll get a coop. I t will have to be before the cold weather hits for sure.I'm searching for an affordable option, but there's nothing out there in my area.

Sorry for the silly question, but if the waterer is sealed, how do you get the water in it? It looks like a genius idea. I need to find an easier waterer than the metal ones.

My first one you layed it down to fill it up.
The new bigger one as a cut off valve at the bottom an a removable cap on top.

When I build another I will use a 55 gallon drum with bunghole out to a valve an then a up turned elbow.

I also have 55 gallon feeder in mind. It will have to be tilted to a 45* angle so it will wait till I build a big triangular tractor.
