Quiet Birds

I live in a suburban neighborhood and need quiet chickens. Are there breeds notorious for being loud or quiet? Is there anything I can do to their environment to make them quieter ( I am new, just now building our coop) I was looking into Rhode Island Reds here and read a few comments about their noise level.

This may just be my chickens, but each breed has quiet and loud chickens. I have a couple loud EEs, 5 loud RIRs, 1 loud Barred Plymouth rock, and then I have 1 quiet EE, 1 quiet RIR, and 1 quiet Barred Plymouth Rock. I have one Jersey Giant, and she's quiet.
