quiet roosters

has anyone ever saw a ouiet rooster or ever saw one i was wanting a rooster for my chickens but wouldnt be able to have a real loud one

i was wanting one to be able to hatch out some chicks

Ah, I see. Well I would sugges that if you want to hatch some eggs, but don't want (or can't have) the hassle of a noisy roo, you can always order some fertile eggs from another member here.

There have even been members here who've had a hen go broody with no roo, so they ordered hatchingh eggs to replace the infertile ones under the broody with.

I don't know of any certian breed that is charictaristically "quiet", but I have known individual roos that have just had a pretty pitiful crow.

Well do you know of a type of chicken that will set on. Eggs untill they hatch
