My cats are afraid of my chickens! I've tried leaving them in the barn at night and they just know the chickens are in there too and they start climbing the walls.

Our Dalmatian is scared of rats so he waits until my husband has shot them and then pretends he has caught them! Personally I'm with the dog on this one!

So what is everyone going to do with their blocks? I thought I'd share my plan with you. I am going to put a border between and and around the blocks and a backing and make it to go on my porch swing

I wanted to put mine together in varying ways. I don't really know how to describe it, but sort of like a "Sampler Block Quilt."

I've been working on making smaller blocks with some of the same fabrics and I have some prints that will be put between the 12" blocks to offset and frame them.

Mine will be put together as a sampler, my husband and I laid them out, I think I will frame the blocks with black, but still deciding on that

Here's my block... the pic came out a little fuzzy but you can still see it and I already have them all packed up. I'm not opening the package to take new pictures. I will try to get them shipped out on Monday.

Ok, I sent my blocks out today. Shipping confirmation number is 9505 5104 9288 3071 4773 60 (whew! That's a lot of numbers!)

I even included a return envelope with postage paid! You should be proud of me Marty, especially after the last swap... last one to send and didn't do anything other than stick them in the mail! Sorry about all that. Perhaps I have made up for it on this swap?

I also marked the envelope with "April Swap"
