Quilt Block Swap for January 2010

I keep finding patterns for a 12 inch square (I thought i'd try a double pinwheel pattern) am I missing something? or is there an easy way to convert an existing pattern keeping in mind I'm not a mathematician?

I'd like to join. One block a month is just my speed! I like old fashioned prints and patterns, but would really just like blocks that reflect the personality and preferences of each individual quilter.

Nice to see you back PNP----O.k. everyone.....let's get started, but remember you have until the 25th to get the block sent out. If for some reason you cannot meet this deadline...please PM me a nd let us know otherwise your name will be removed.

I can't wait to see all the pics of the blocks.....yes, everyone try and post a pic of the block you recieve. If you don't have a camera let the person know that is sending to you and maybe they will take a pic for you.

Good Morning, Everyone!

It's early here and I am only halfway through my first cup of coffee....but I can't seem to find the info on who sends to whom. Is it the same as the last swap, where we each send to the person below us and then the next on the list, etc.....?

Meaning I will send to Acres this month?

Gin, is it too late to join? I just saw this thread. I've had my nose to the sewing machine since Thanksgiving making six and a half bed size quilt tops! Once I start, I can't seem to stop, and it's COLD outside. If I missed out I can wait till next month.

Hey, I'm already in that one. I finished the 20 blocks about a week after the thread was posted!

I haven't finished the 7th quilt top because I couldn't find anything in my stash that I like for sashing for the blocks that I made!! I put it on the back burner til I can get something I like to make the dark squares pop.
If I can ever figure out how to post pics, I will post some of them.
You know, use up your stash so you can buy new.....Who Me?
