Wow,,, one of the kids just found this cruising the site and pointed it out,, they want to learn to do this now,, thanks a lot!!! I still think they are beautiful,, that's a lot of pieces,,, I need to distract them now....

A few years ago I made a small quilt using a square yo yo. I thought at first it seemed like it took awhile and a little extra fabric until I remembered I was doing the front and back at the same time. I also put a square of batting in each yo yo as i made them.. I goggled square yo yo and there is a good pattern on there.
