Quite Duckling

Hello,
I have 3, week old Indian runners which I hatched myself. Two are very active and always running around their cage but the other is very calm and just likes sitting down.

She can walk perfectly fine and is noticeably bigger than the other ducklings. She's eating and pooping just fine.

Should I be worried or is it just personality. She hatched last out of all my ducklings.

I raise Runners, too. Are you feeding extra niacin? Runners need strong legs and supplementing feed with niacin is important for leg development. Reluctance to run around would make me wonder if she has leg weakness and is favoring a leg.

I am not feeding niacin but shall order some now. She was running around when I had a shallow dish of water out with them today. I thought she could just be isolated because she hatched 24+ hours after the other two ? X

If they're not picking on her, I'd keep them together. Here's more info on niacin deficiency. Best of luck!
