Hi all, just stopping in to post a few baby pics. I did take the time and photogrqphed each one. This was something I wish I had done with our big girl flock when they were young.

Introduction the Fiesty Fifteen as I have dubbed them.

Yesterday they discovered they could eat their feed, lol. It was a big day in the life of baby chicks.

They looked bigger overnight just from eating solid feed.

We have been working on getting our greenhouses filled and garden planted as well. I have been going to bed exhausted at night. I miss everyone and will stop by to play again when I get a spare minute.

We hatched 16 total, lost the last one she was too tiny. Everyone else is healthy and Fiesty!
 
Tricia, congratulations on the pretty chicks! They really do look bigger overnight, lol. Are you keeping all of them?

Take it easy with the gardening work...that stuff will wear you out!

Thanks and don't know yet, gotta see how many are males/females, etc. We can absorb a few. Funny I don't remember certain things from our current flock, like how quickly they are doing chicken things. For instance, the day they discovered their food they also discovered they could sratch and peck. It is pretty amazing to see all those little details again, I had forgotten a lot of them.

X's 2! Cute chicks, and, take it easy out there. I haven't started yet. We face the North, my tulips are still blooming. :) We usually don't start planting the other flowers, and veggies, until May..well, it's May. Soon. Gardens do take work don't they? Worth it though.
