Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Got my two little tomato plants planted, and I picked out some purple .. curly petunias, they are so pretty. And white petunias. And, planted a couple more mums. Tried to get the true color, couldn't very well. I love these for a change. I've not had the wavy ones..or what ever they are called. lol.. These little violets came up on their own again this yr. Two different colors. There's my two little tomato plants back there. These white petunias are huge. That green bush by the orange is also mums. They usually bloom in the fall, but these that have flowers were out for Memorial Day, so I got a few. I almost clipped my Bleeding Hearts back since there are only a few branches left with blooms..but decided to keep them up a few more days. It was sunny and hot out there while I was planting, and now it's cloudy. :/
Those are really beautiful Cynthia!

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.
Mother Teresa
