Looks like I'll be picking corn tomorrow. I'll post some pics of it. I picked one ear to check it out and it's ready!

Corn isn't even up to the knees down the road. We don't get to start planting till latter part of May.

I was able to plant at the 3rd week of March. It's been about 10/11 weeks.
 
I think we've pinpointed our predator threat. Skunk. I couldn't understand why the smell was following us until we realized our German shepherd got skunked. Blegh. After wrestling 107 lbs of anti bath fury he's been tomatoed juiced, purified, and shampooed. After he tan inside to lay on the bed of course. Any tips for ridding yourself of a skunk?

Oh no, yuck! The only way I know to get rid of them is to trap them and shoot them.

Dawn dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda. Mix together, put on liberally, wait a while, then rinse off. For you and the dog. Hope all of you are smelling better soon.
