Hope everyone is having a good day so far. I'm 2 hrs. behind most of you..

I was up, then to bed, then up, and so it went for the night. I now have 6 darling silkie babies. I had 8 eggs shipped to me. 7 went into lock down, but it was a tiny egg, when I checked it, it had quit probably yesterday, not much of the yolk absorbed at all. Interesting, and it was the smallest egg. These are all white silkies. Pretty excited I got so many.

Thank you everyone. I would like to breed. Trying to find a little rooster that won't be real loud. I have a rooster collar that I can try now, hope it will work..it keeps them from taking in the deep breath they need to crow loud. Doesn't shock them..so, hoping I can get this to work. I have a beautiful white girl out there, and a paint SG out there that I am crossing my fingers is a girl. Surely there will be a boy in one of these 6 that just hatched..now watch...

I will sell some of the chicks I'm sure. But, not until I've had a chance to watch them for a while.

That photo in my avatar..is the girl I'm talking about that is outside. I should get a photo of her now. At least I think it's a girl. So far so good .. no crowing.
