Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

My DH went in to have a suspicious looking sore on his temple area on his face today. No results for two weeks, but back in a week to get the stitches out. The dr. wasn't going to go as deep, but decided to once he looked at it again today. Good thing about catching this skin stuff early, it's pretty preventable. But, he also had blood drawn a couple of days, part of his reg. check up, and now, his prostate levels aren't good. Has to go back and see if they are the same in 5 months, or if they have gone up. If up, then off to a specialist for that. This getting older thing really isn't fun. :/

Old power lines in the way. It was really pretty though. Love our mountains!

Same mountain, different part of town.

This was so cute, even though I really don't care for the sparrows right now. :/ On the back
door step.

Poor little things, how do they make it in the cold? Oh wait! I know that one ...they
eat all of the chicken food they can stuff into their little beaks. :p

We have had sleet this morning, along with a nice little breeze to go with it. Why does that wind have to cut right through you? Whew! Yes, and also expecting a nice snowfall come Sat. and Sun. I did a couple of beautiful photos of the mountains this morning as we headed into town though. Will post them once I catch up here. :)
It is that time of year
