Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Praying of you and your DH.

Thank you. Now they are trying to decide whether I need another mammo with different views, or go with the Ultra Sound. Still waiting for that appt. for one or another. Good Grief. Why is there always waiting.
Maybe I'll be like Brent, only it will be the waiting that will scare the problem away.

Ok, when it rains it  pours, first my DH cuts his finger, and cuts a tendon.  Can't bend his finger at the first joint.  Won't do the surgery that could..possibly fix it.   No reason to go through all of that..at least he can bend it in the second joint now. He cut it pretty deep.  :/

Now, I get a phone call from my drs. office saying this is regarding the mammogram you had done yesterday.  I say..oh oh..already?  She says they want an ultra sound done on my right breast.    I will take all of the prayers you have to give!  I'm a bit nervous.  Let's hope it won't show anything.  You never know if it's just a swollen glad, which I've had on my right side before.

Keeping you in my thoughts. :fl :hugs

Regards,
Leaf

You know you and hubby are in my prayers as well, Cynthia! I went through the same thing last year - except first they did a more extensive mammogram and the only guy we have here to read them went on vacation and was in Hawaii. <sigh> So I waited. Then the doctor's office called back and said that rather that wait for him to get back they'd have me come in for an ultrasound - fortunately it was all clear. 11 days later the radiologist called - all clear! Well, DUH, doc!! And the anti-anxiety meds were the only thing working while you were gone! Now, don't get me wrong, I know that everyone deserves a vacation. But wouldn't you think that even in such a rural area as ours they'd have made arrangements for someone else to do the final radiology readings? What if it had been life hreatening emergency for someone? Oh, wait - never mind, I know. They'd do what they did for me with my heart attack last month - put 'em in an ambulance and send them to Billings!
