Way back in another life when I still worked for a living things became extremely hectic in our department, and almost everyone was on edge. One young man (mid twenties) remained unflappable. I asked how he managed to maintain such calmness. He replied, "I don't sweat the small stuff, and everything is small stuff to me." Turns out he was a testicular cancer survivor. When the going gets tough, I think about what he said - wisdom from a young man who had been 'there'.
 
Please pray for our 3 year old grandson, Kyle. He is in Children's Hospital in St. Louis. Preliminary diagnosis is Wilms Tumor. A CT scam later to confirm. It seems odd to ask people I've never met to pray for a child they don't know but I know you will, in whatever way you believe, lift him up with us...because BYCers are good people. God is able.

Oh, I am so sorry!!! I know how difficult it is to have a little one with serious health issues. My prayers for Kyle and your family are on their way. Please update us as you can.

BYC members have been very generous with their prayers for me and my family, so don't even give asking a second thought. You've got bigger things on your plate at the moment!
