Next evening you are out tending to the animals, take a moment to look at the sky as you walk around. One moment from one point of view it is red, move twenty feet from the feed shed to the chicken coop and you see the oranges that were hiding behind the tree. The sun sinks slowly down taking with it the colors. Take a deep breath and look at the evening around you, and smile. Enjoy the serenity of it all, the peace, walk back inside with a sense of accomplishment of hungry mouths fed and let the peace linger as you go about your evening.

I love feeding the animals, destressing, reflecting on the day, letting out your emotions with the non-judgemental cows to complain to. Often includes crying, but I walk back inside feeling calmer and happier.
