Kyle update received today:

Hello, everyone!
I wanted to write quick and let you know that we had an appointment for Kyle today. This was his 9-month post-chemo check up. He had an ultrasound, chest X-ray, blood work and urine test. Everything was normal... not just "post chemo normal" but actual "normal kid" normal. His sodium levels have been low since around his last chemo and even those levels had risen. We had rescheduled in order to see his regular oncologist, but when we arrived today, they told us that we would be seeing someone else. It was a new doctor but she said that Kyle looks great. Kyle is now 43 inches tall. That might not seem like a big deal, but when he rang the bell last year, he was 40.5 inches. He still hasn't gained much weight but for how active he is, we are not surprised. He will go back in October for his 1-year check. At that point, he might have more time between appointments, but for now, it continues to be every 3 months.
