Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

We didn't have ice cream trucks, or if we did, my mom never bought anything off it. I didn't know they existed outside of TV until I was in college.

I do remember orange sherbet in those rolls... it was called a Push Up. And they only came in that one flavor.
We did not have ice cream trucks either. (Too far out I'm the country) I always envied the kids on t.v. who chased the musical trucks. Now I know being raised in the countryside is better than having an ice cream truck. Lol.
I'm pretty sure they only had the orange push-ups when I was young.

I experienced both, farm living a thousand miles from nowhere and living in a city. I don’t think one was better than the other, just different. Ironically, the country school house was more advanced than the big city school though. Like by a lot. I skipped a whole grade when I moved to the city.

When I first heard an ice cream truck's jingle, I thought, oh, cute. The 20th time I heard one, half the notes were missing, and it was HORRIBLY out of tune. I asked my flute teacher if driving one of those would perhaps be a personal hell for musicians.

Just about every ice cream truck jingle I've heard is the same. They drive around the area but nobody buys from them except the one at the beach entrance. That one always has a line! 🤣

Ice cream trucks and clowns are probably used in more horror movies than any other prop. 🤡
