On of my most satisfying parts of working in the recovery room (PACU) was caring for post op breast CA patients. We had a Plastic Surgeon that worked with the Oncology surgeon and would begin the reconstructive process in the OR.
It was satisfying to be there to tell the patient "It looks good" when they were waking up.
