Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Your husband deserves a huge hug as well. I think it is even scarier for men to leap when they are taking their family with them. They feel that responsibility intensely.

I think it keeps my husband frozen in the headlights most of the time. Now he has our son's college to worry about paying for, but we will get through it. I know it will all work out one way or another.

Your stories worry me. I'm glad all worked out for everyone, but 37hours?!, emergency c-sections?!, 11 months...

That's why I'm glad it worked out for all, but I'm glad I still have some time to think about it. We've talked about it on many occasions and I usually think I'd like to have children, but then again I think...what if today was the day I found out (as an example) I would be absolutely terrified.

Yeah baybay, labour sucks, pregnancy sucks... Heart burn etc etc... But 4 days after my first I was ready to do it all again. And I did, and maybe 1 more time yet... And its beyond worth it... Even when the kids are crazy monkeys...

It's pretty normal to be scared... The biggest commitment anyone can make is having kids... From putting your body through it to the life time of commitment, scary... But the best things in life are risky like that...
Uh oh I'm getting baby fever... Someone smack me...

I said it about 20 minutes after my first one was born...you really do forget that fast...lol

Yes, this will only be our third try and I'm thinking three times is a charm.  In the first one our ducks trampled my peas and lettuce so I put up a snow fence.  (it lasted for about 24 hours until they whole flock went through) Last year we built a proper fence, but put things in the wrong spot.  My corn blocked the peas this time and they didn't flourish as I had hoped.  This year I'm convinced everything will work out :)  And now that I've gotten a little used to canning there will be lots more.

Good luck with your garden, should be great! Ours did well last year, first year for me to have a garden in like 10 years. We got a little crazy last year, we had 20 tomatoe plants and 22 pepper plants. The tomatoe bed got crazy and we pulled the last of ours in October, very weird growing season last year. We will be herding the chickens into the garden area to let them work our beds for us and for some free fertilizer sometime in the next few days. Love it! Nothing beats snacking on grape tomatoes while you work in the garden.
