I actually don't even know. We (thankfully) don't usually have to worry about tornadoes. I think in the past it's probably more of a summer issue, but it makes sense right now with the temperatures fighting to go up and down.
Wow and some people don't believe in climate change. I have lived in Colorado all my life and when I was a kid we had a lot of snow in the winter from October to March/April. Now often we don't get a lot of snow and it doesn't always stick around. We have some pretty cold nights now meaning below zero. I don't remember a lot of that as a kid.
