I thought it was funny although I don't joke about women like that myself. My DW tells me all the time she loves me and once in a while I won't say it back to her. And she'll frown and say aren't you gonna say you love me and I'll say I told you yesterday that I love you I don't see the need to keep repeating myself so if something changes I'll let you know. Then she'll give the look (the look that all women have). But I always end up telling her anyhow.. :)

That's good :) Even when we know it, sometimes we still need to hear it. I believe it works well both ways.
