Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

This is a day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

(Each day is what we make of it. I choose to be thankful despite my infirmities as I am still breathing) :p

Some Irish Blessings to get you all through the day ;)

May the blessings of light be upon you,
Light without and light within.
And in all your comings and goings.

May those who love us love us.
And those that don't love us,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles,
So we'll know them by their limping.

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

May God grant you always...
A sunbeam to warm you,
A moonbeam to charm you,
A sheltering angel, so nothing can harm you.

Always remember to forget
The things that made you sad.
But never forget to remember
The things that made you glad.

Always remember to forget
The friends that proved untrue.
But never forget to remember
Those that have stuck by you.

Always remember to forget
The troubles that passed away.
But never forget to remember
The blessings that come each day.

Here's to you and yours
And to mine and ours.
And if mine and ours
Ever come across to you and yours,
I hope you and yours will do
As much for mine and ours
As mine and ours have done
For you and yours!

May your neighbors respect you,
Trouble neglect you,
The angels protect you,
And heaven accept you.

May your troubles be less
And your blessings be more.
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door.

May the luck of the Irish
Lead to happiest heights
And the highway you travel
Be lined with green lights.

May brooks and trees and singing hills
Join in the chorus, too.
And every gentle wind that blows
Send happiness to you.

Wherever you go and whatever you do,
May the luck of the Irish be there with you.

May the hinges of our friendship never grow rusty.

When ever you get a headache, take two aspirins and keep away from children just like the bottle says.

Happy birthday, Harry! I loved horses and rode them frequently for years, but life and living in a rather big town started making getting to any very difficult so I dropped that passion and then a back injury took care of my passion for show jumping. But I still have a secret dream of one day having a horse again. Maybe when I moved and settled, a few years down the line… we'll see?
That would be one more thing to look forward to @sumi ! I was raised around horses but probably won't have one again. Our place is just too small for one and there really isn't a good place to ride around here. I do love them though, such beautiful animals!
They really are wonderful creatures. I grew up wanting to be around them, but being in a town made it difficult, so I vowed one day... I'll see what I end up buying property-wise, if I'll have the space and money for a horse along with my other projects, but it's on the wish list, somewhere lol
Me too my next property move will hopefully be somewhere that I can keep him at home and get him a couple of friends. Plus more chickens and some goats!! I keep him at a livery yard about 10 mins drive away but what I pay for that every month would pay half a mortgage on a bigger place to live. What a shame NorthFLChick that you don't think you will have one again, I just can't imagine what it would be like not to have them in my life. Good luck sumi with your wish list, I bet Ireland is a super place to ride :thumbsup
