Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

... oh wait.. we could be.
Are you originally from here?

Because there are a mess of us everywhere. beware.

Nope, I'm a transplant from KS. But my relatives are scattered everywhere too (from WY to TX and from CA to IA)...we pretty much have the western half of the US covered.

Here's a picture of some of my relatives...notice any family resemblance?

LOL you guys! Well, my son and I are living prove that karma doesn't work. He was the sweetest baby, from birth and nearly 9 years later, just adorable. Me? Well… The first thing I did upon entering this crazy world, was hit the paediatrician… In. The. Face.

Until the time my mom and stopped talking she was still teasing me about it.

My 1st boy was 4 weeks LATE! Don't think the drs. let things go on so long any more but that guy was born with a full head of hair and could push himself up with his arms to look around. I've been trying to keep up with him all his life, lol.

Yay, another boy! Just think of all the fun he will have with his 2 boy cousins!

That's right.. I really enjoy my grandkids and family.

No. no. none of us. We have not evolved to tree dwelling yet. Still primordial ooze.

I was way too passive and easy going as a baby. Kid. Young adult. middle aged person.
I wish I had come out swinging!
Things would be different!
Might not be better, but they would be different.

I slowed down a bit since then. Don't want to give my son ideas

He still thinks his mom is awesome.

Again, my son thinks growing up with dirt on his face was the best education he could have had. (he is rather smart) Vitamin dirt makes you smart, who knew?

There was a little girl helping us at the Dadant bee supply store, he said she was lucky to have a place to be a part of; that belonging to a business or a farm made him feel important like he was doing something of value and that he was valuable- that he was useful.

I remember him taking a lot of things apart and strewing them all over the place, but in his mind, that was real work.
