And does that actually work? I'll have to try that. Because I'll forget the list, go to the store and get everything but what was on the list. I believe the dang store plots aginst me.

No usually doesn't work. I guess I'm stuck to calling home and having it read to me as I pick things up.

Our day did not go according to plan... The agent and attorneys failed to let us know that the transfer will NOT happen when we vacate the property, as we were told, but later this week. So we about killed ourselves to move out along with the tenants this weekend… for nothing? Yep, no need to rush, we have until Wednesday or Thursday. So here we are exhausted, with 90% of our stuff stored and moved, half my chickens 3 hours' drive away… Not amused with either the agent or the attorneys. We took the lack of need to rush to pack up the rest of MIL's stuff, take everything we can to storage, go to the bar to have a drink and plan the rest of the move for tomorrow.

DH phoned our future host to let him know and check in on the chickens, they're o.k. That's a relief. Further travel plans are still on for the end of this month, sometime around the 28th-31st. Emigrating is going to be a breeze after this? lol

I'm very sorry to hear about all that, Sumi!!

But like Nicky said, keep the faith!

Sumi, will be so very happy for you when this is all done and said. Soon, won't be long. The day will come. Then you can have fun setting up your place just like you want it. The fun part. That is, after all the dishes are put away, and all of the other things that need to be put in cabinets, storage, or shelves..like books. Work, then the fun part.
