We took my chickens over their new home today. That was difficult! They settled in happily in the new pens and we stayed a bit before leaving… I wanted to go say goodbye, but I suddenly had such a lump in my throat I couldn't. So I decided to make time before we leave to go visit them, we probably won't, but it made me feel better at the time. I'm ready to move on now, to wherever God has planned for me. I'm going to start house hunting in earnest as soon as we have a departure date.

I too can only imagine how hard it was for you to leave your birds It's nice to read though that you have seen them settled in happily. I would much rather have that I think and see them in their new home, rather than them being picked up and taken.
Let's hope you get departure date soon
