I went outside first thing and out of habit turned towards the pens to listen for chicken noises… Then I remembered. They're in a lovely place now, they will be allowed to free range after a few days and they will be taken care off properly. Our friend keeps lots of fowl, so they're in good hands. He has quail, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys and 3 emus. Along with assorted farm animals. It's the most wonderful self-sufficient set-up.

Today will be… interesting. The attorneys promised transfer, which is not in their hands, so I hope for their sake the deeds office was listening. I did some property browsing online last night, found a lot of new listings, sadly most of which don't have enough land. There are 2 properties I've earmarked though, that are still, surprisingly, for sale, so I send one of the listing agents a "how about that?" email yesterday evening.

The other house's agent doesn't seem to know that if you list your email addy on your website you should check your inbox occasionally, so I'm going to phone him sometime soon. That usually gets their attention lol Fingers crossed all will go well today and we can start getting some balls rolling.
