Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Sarah, I'm glad to see your friends are making some progress.

Thanks Shannon! Me too!

When DH & I were at Mom's house in January, I found a few of the books I learned to read with and I brought them home with us. They were the old Nancy Drew mysteries that had been passed down from one cousin to another with me getting them last. It's wonderful seeing them on my bookshelf again.

Good post Sarah.

Debby, we used to collect the boxcar kids. In high school wood shop I made myself a big ole' bookshelf and to this day it sits at my parents full of all my childhood books. I can't get rid of any.

I suppose I'll need to go get them eventually, maybe if we have kids they'll enjoy them as much as I did.

Old books are old friends to me. Yes, get your old books someday, treasure them. And I bet if you have kids, you'll teach them the love of reading and they'll enjoy your childhood books too.
