Morning y'all. Been getting lots of rain for the garden lately, though not the biblical rain the South has been getting. My heart goes out to you if your dealing with that and then there is Tropical Storm Bill heading your way too. With all the rain, have not had much chance to get out and weed though, hoping for clear sky's by the weekend.

That biblical rain here in Texas has certainly made my garden grow. I know that in amongst all the healthy weed are the plants I planted. I weed the garden and the next day they are back with a fury. If weeds were a cash crop I would be a wealthy man instead of just one rich in appreciation.

Hi Jon! And if weeds were a garden crop, we'd have a freezer full of good stuff to eat, lol. Send some of that extra rain our way if you can...we're parched. And that's not a good thing when your "dirt" is sand. Ever try growing a garden on a beach?

WB, the best thing growing in our garden this year is watermelon. And I'm not complaining about that!
