Today is the moment of truth. I shall be putting in my resignation and I officially start the new job next weekend. Ideally I was hoping to give the full two weeks, but maybe I can offer a deal. If my training overlaps the two weeks I was thinking I could add a few days at this job to cover it?? We'll see I guess. Either way it's the same outcome in the end. I'm moving on

Big day today, hey? Hope all will go well and smoothly for you!

@Yorkshire coop Kim, I saw on TV this morning there was a huge storm in Yorkshire yesterday, Massive hail stones and damage caused to some houses, broken windows and someone's satellite dish got split in half apparently. Are you and yours O.K?

We are all good thanks :hugs We got just one thunderstorm with just heavy rain. It lasted about about 10 minutes and that was it. I think the really large hail stones and bad stuff were south of us. We are in East Yorkshire and missed the bad stuff. The 10 minutes of rain was a relief as it was so hot yesterday
I thought the thunder and rain would clear the air a little but no such luck. It was more humid after it.

Everyone was cooking, poor birds panting even in the shade. Got Harry horse in out of the sun as he has no shade in his field and he was sweating just stood in!! Have not had weather like this in many a year. 33 Celsius was highest recorded in Yorkshire yesterday. I'm sure my garden was higher!! Better today though, my van said 27 when I got back from doing Harry today.

What's Rep of Ireland like? We only get northern on our national forecast. Oh and great you got that cooker fixed!! You must have a nice landlord for them to send someone at that time.

Glad to hear you're alright Kim. I hope you all get a break from that heat. Last night we were down to 8 (if I converted correctly) and even today we're only at 13. Not normal for July. It's been strange weather the past few years.
