It is a strange feeling -this new thing. the screen is huge, the key board tiny.I think small is great for young people, but I can not tell the difference between the period and the comma.

So anyway the moral of this story is make sure you back up all of your photos and data before you attempt a windows ten download.
Ours are gone.

My son thinks they are still there on the hard drive, but It isn't a mom thing. It is a tech kid thing, and he will be off to school.

I'm glad you shared this..I've been thinking about downloading the 10!
 
DH just downloaded windows 10 - running fine now but he made sure he backed all up first. He figured it out himself --
3goodeggs - if your son did it from "inside windows" ie - an update it keeps the old files and system files on the hard drive under windows old.
