We had much better weather so far today, so I dragged the boys off on another castle hunting trip. DS and I explored a wonderful ancient abbey ruin, Hore Abbey…. Goodness, these place names? It's almost as bad as Ratass church in Tralee

This the abbey and in the 4th pic you can see the Rock of Cashel in the background. It's just up the hill from the abbey and under major renovation at the moment:










Nearby we found the cute little Farney Castle
