We were in church tonight and the message was on the family of Jesus escaping King Herod. The three gifts they had recieved and how they would have used them and taken them.
We were asked what three things we would take with us if we had to leave with only moments to think. We were reminded of the folk fleeing from Syriia.

Well I thought hard - some folk said they would take money others things they needed like medicines or glasses. Others their Bible.

I kind of figured that money might not get me the things I needed if the world about me was collapsing.
I don;t need lots of meds for myself as yet thank God and I can get away without my reading glasses for most things.
I figured the Bible would be a great weight to carry and that the only real thing I needed to remember was John 3:16.

The three things I finally decided to take.
A full military style Medics kit. (Hubby has one)
Light and efficient it has all I would need for any little mishaps but also things I could use for hunting, collecting Water and a weapon.
A Militry Knife as it has a biult in compass and can also be used for the Hunting etc but also for creating a shelter.
My Dog. - For helping to carry things, for warmth and companionship, for protection or food if necissary, for skinning the pelt to keep me warm,
But most of all because the anagram of Dog is GOD - so God would always be with me!

Oes
