Quotes and Thoughts for the Day

Thank you Brent, he is pretty much staying in bed anyway. Again, not something he does..guess that body of his says do it! Stay in bed.

Thank you! I think we worry about each other more the older we get.

My poor DH, he can't get a break. He is so sick right now with the bug.  Flu.    I had it last month..that cough lasted for three weeks!  He never gets this sick so it's hard to see him like this.  :/
I'm watching, if he doesn't get any better soon, he's heading for the doc.

I'm sorry to hear is so under the weather Cynthia :hugs The flu sure can knock you for six, I hope with lots of rest and care from you he is well again soon.
Fingers crossed you don't have to visit the Dr :fl

Thank you Kim.

Wondering if that is you on that beautiful horse? Guessing it is. You are blessed to be able to have a horse! I have loved them all of my life, but never able to have one.

Your most welcome Cynthia :hugs

It is me yes on Harry horse :D I sure am blessed to have had him in my life for nearly 13 years now. I'm hoping for a few more yet too! I've been very lucky to have him and I count blessing with him.
That's such a shame you have not been able to have one of your own. Have/do you ride?

Cynthia, so sorry to hear your husband is under the weather. He sure has had a rough month (which means the spouse has a rough one also). Hope he gets to feeling better soon!

Thank you everyone. I'm thinking stress does a lot to a body. I think he's has been stressing more over the cancer thing..more than me even. Still no results. Just waiting for that phone call.

Kim, I did have a chance to ride back in the day! I loved it! I rode western saddle...of course. :p And, I loved loved riding one horse bare back up in the foothills here in Utah County. I really did find ways to ride from the time I was in high school into the 80's. So I have a lot of great memories of it. Riding along in a spring, in a corn field..which was probably a no no. Had my brother on the back while bare back riding when a deer jumped in front of us on a trail and just hopped along for a while. I kicked my gal into a trot, and we followed that deer for quite a while until it jumped a fence. This horse was my in-laws. So had a chance to ride often. Before then was from a gal in school. We went for some great rides then. She was happy to have me ride, she rode her horses in rodeos..barrel racing, so wanted them kept in shape. No problem! I was willing to help out with that!
Another friend had horses too. :p I remember one day we went, her dad was there trying to get her to ride their stallion. She didn't want to, he was pretty frisky all right! I said..I will! I hopped right up there. Off we went..lol. He did kick up his heels a couple of times, but he was just having fun..and so was I!
