When I was in SA, when I phoned the dentist for an appointment they usually asked if it was an "emergency" and squeezed me in quickly if so. Can't you do that with your dentist? Oh no. You need to let them know how long this has been hurting you. You don't want to wait too long, and get a really bad infection. My son did that yrs. ago. The infection spread to the roof of his mouth. This can be serious stuff. Call them back and say, this really can't wait. So sorry..toothaches are the worst!

Don't forget your traps!! Makes me feel itchy thinking about them scratching about 
From experience I would ring and say it's an emergency!! The longer it lingers the worse it may become. Toothache is just horrible and I would not wish it on anyone. Fingers crossed you are feeling better soon and they can see you sooner

I think it might actually be a gum problem...the pain went away once I took some ibuprofen
